      Rayven.io’s dashboard management system allows you to create customized, data-driven interfaces with powerful insights. This guide will walk you through the process of managing and customizing dashboards, including adding widgets, setting navigation types, and more.

      1. Creating and Managing Dashboards

      To create a new dashboard, follow these steps:

      1. Go to the Dashboard Management section from the admin panel.
      2. Click Create New Dashboard.
      3. Fill out the following fields to configure your dashboard:

      Dashboard Fields

      • Dashboard Name: Name your dashboard to reflect its purpose.

        • Example: TEST

      • Dashboard Navigation Type:

        • Permanent: Dashboard remains accessible from the main navigation bar.
        • Drill down: Allows you to navigate deeper into data layers or sub-dashboards from the main dashboard.

      • Dashboard Type:

        • Real-time & Insights: Displays data that updates in real-time, ideal for live monitoring.
        • Historical: Displays static or time-based data, useful for reviewing past performance and trends.

      • Icon Selection: Select an icon from the available library to represent your dashboard. Icons help users visually identify dashboards quickly.

      • Dashboard Background Color: Choose a background color for the dashboard using a hex code.

        • Example: #FFFFFF

      • Dashboard Background Image: Add a background image to your dashboard.

        • Recommended size: 1920x1080, max size 2MB.
        • You can choose to show the image once or duplicate it as a pattern.

      2. Adding Widgets to Your Dashboard

      Widgets provide the visual representations of your data. You can select widgets from your existing workflows to be displayed on the dashboard.

      To add widgets:

      1. In the Select Widgets section, click on Select from Workflows.
      2. Choose the relevant workflow from which you want to display widgets.
        • Example: Select Workflow1.
      3. Once selected, the widgets will appear on the dashboard.

      3. Selecting Tables for Your Dashboard

      You can link tables to the dashboard to showcase additional data insights, making your dashboard more dynamic.

      To select tables:

      1. Navigate to the Select Tables for This Dashboard section.
      2. Click Select to choose from available tables.
      3. You can display data from one or more tables on your dashboard.

      4. Customizing Dashboard Appearance

      Rayven.io provides a range of customization options to make your dashboards both functional and visually appealing:

      • Icon Library: Select icons that help represent the purpose or type of data shown in the dashboard.
      • Background Customization:
        • Use solid colors or background images.
        • For images, ensure the file is in the recommended resolution of 1920x1080 and does not exceed 2MB in size.
      • Widgets Layout: Organize the widgets in a way that optimizes the user experience. You can move, resize, and configure the widgets to suit your data display needs.

      5. Managing Existing Dashboards

      To manage and edit an existing dashboard:

      1. Go to the Dashboard Management section.
      2. Click on the dashboard name you wish to edit (e.g., TEST).
      3. Modify the necessary fields (navigation type, background color, icon, etc.).
      4. Save your changes to update the dashboard.

      • Editing Widget Configuration: You can configure widgets to show specific data points, change their layout, and adjust how they interact with the dashboard’s overall design.
      • Editing Dashboard Layouts: The layout editor allows for easy drag-and-drop customization, letting you change the positioning and size of widgets for optimal data visualization.

      6. Preview and Testing

      Once you’ve created or edited a dashboard:

      1. Use the Preview option to see how the dashboard will appear to end users.
      2. Test the real-time functionality (if applicable) to ensure that widgets update properly with new data.

      7. Sharing Dashboards

      Rayven.io enables you to share dashboards with specific users or groups:

      1. Click the Share button in the dashboard view.
      2. Select which users or user groups should have access to the dashboard.
      3. Choose the level of access: view-only or editable.
